A little over 3 years ago, I joined the staff at this church while still a full time student at Northpoint Bible College. Being here was clearly a call God had on my life, but the challenge was still present. Mainly the means of commuting from Massachusetts to Rhode Island every weekend.

Church, I cant tell you how many times Ive been blessed by you all in this area of my life. Ive had people offer me money, deals on vehicles, repairs, encouragement, prayer and even a place to stay over the years. In my mind, those gracious individuals invested in my dream of working here. They gave what they had so that I could follow my dreams.

My challenge to you today is to invest in someones dream. Maybe you have a significant other who needs encouragement to go back to college to get a degree. Or maybe a son/daughter who is unsure about pursuing their dream job. Or maybe a friend who is on the brink of giving up on something they've been chasing for years. Whether its a few words or a few dollars consider being to them what you guys were to me: A foothold to my future.

And if you don't know what their dream is, find out! Its never too late to learn about someone, and it can lead to a deeper relationship.
